Welcome back to Modern Art Oxford! We are so happy to be open again and to share our exciting upcoming programme of exhibitions and events with you.

We’ve extended our opening hours and are now open 10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday, and 12-5pm on Sundays. We are closed on Mondays.

We are excited to reopen the gallery with places and faces, a new exhibition in our Creative Space by recent Fine Art graduate, Fetine Sel Tuzel. Tuzel’s installation is first in our series of Platform Graduate Award exhibitions, celebrating emerging artistic talent from across the South East. No booking necessary. Find out more.



Our highly anticipated exhibition with Anish Kapoor: Painting opens on 2 October. Discover the intimate creative process behind Kapoor’s iconic studio paintings in this unmissable exhibition. Book tickets.



Our Shop is also open again, with a huge range of unique and ethical gifts, books, art editions, homeware, jewellery and more.

This season, discover exclusive merchandise produced in collaboration with Anish Kapoor, including silk scarves, a tote bag and a selection of postcards.

This weekend, don’t miss a visit to the Café for a cup of our delicious houseblend Lavazza coffee, homemade cakes and snacks, and a wide selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. Open only Saturday 25 September 10am-5pm and Sunday 26 September 12-5pm.

From 2 October, the Café will be offering an exciting new menu of homemade lunches and snacks, and will be open as usual: Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday 12-5pm. Closed Mondays.
